About Us

 Michael is originally from Pittsburgh, PA where he graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health Education and minors in Gerontology, Nutrition and Psychology.  He then completed his graduate studies and received his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy in December, 2005, from Slippery Rock.  Michael moved from Pittsburgh to the Charlotte region in late 2005 where he has worked in several areas of physical therapy including outpatient, inpatient and home health.  While working as a home health therapist he gained his clinical specialties in balance and vestibular rehabilitation as well as geriatrics.  In the outpatient clinics his passion for orthopedics and sports has allowed him to develop his manual skills to assist athletes of various ages as well as developing specific programs to meet all of his patient’s individual needs.  This approach maximizes results as well as overall satisfaction of the therapy sessions. 

Michael is currently operating out of Weddington Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Matthews.

 Jeff earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marshall University in 2016 and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University in 2012. He grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and as a High School athlete played baseball, golf and ran track. Jeff is passionate about sports and orthopedics, youth athletics and strength training with a focus in maximizing functional movement patterns for better sports performance. In his free time, you can find Jeff at the gym, golfing, hiking, enjoying a walk with his dog Luna and wife Meredith or in Boone pulling for the Appalachian State Mountaineers. 

   Stacey grew up in Massachusetts, but now calls North Carolina home. Stacey graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 1994 and went on to Northern Arizona University receiving her Master of Physical Therapy in 1997. In her 26 years of practice, she has worked in various settings and has had extensive postgraduate training in orthopedics. She is a certified clinician in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), LSVT BIG, and Vestibular Rehabilitation.  Stacey is the proud mom of 3 boys, and when she is not in the clinic you can find her cheering for her boys at their soccer games.  

Chloe joined our practice in January of 2015 initially as a student looking to become a physical therapy assistant. She graduated with an Exercise Science degree from UNCC. Chloe is our Office Manager and Insurance Specialist, as well as a liaison between our office and Carolina UVC which is the largest travel volleyball club in the Charlotte region. 

 Ginny is a full time Registered Nurse in Charlotte.   She has been a practicing RN since 1995 and has experience in various aspects of nursing including Trauma 1 Emergency Care, Labor and Delivery, Medical/Respiratory ICU as well as home health.  Ginny has several years of management at the nursing level as well as owning and operating other small business here in the Charlotte area.  She is originally from Charlotte, NC and graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing.
